Longhorn Server sound problems...
Hello, I have used Windows Longhorn Server Beta 2 and I've had some problems withits sound system. I have an integrated sound card (SiS 7012) with Realtek drivers for Windows Vista. Well, they work well under Vista... but under Longhorn Server, the sound is choppy, and not just under Windows Media Player, but even the windows sounds are distorted. Curiously, using FooBar or Winamp in kernel streaming mode, the sound plays well... but using kernel streaming blocks every other application from playing sounds. 1) Was this fixed in Beta 3 of Longhorn Server? 2) If not, will it be fixed? or is this a hardware/driver issue, and not windows-dependant? (the sound works well in every other OS so far) I really liked the new features introduced in Longhorn Server, but I don't really want to use an OS that 95% works thank you.

I think the beta 3 still have the problem with sound. When the pitch is high the sound started to break

I'm also having nothing but problem when it comes to sound. In my device manager, I have the driver for High definition Audio Device, yet windows says that there's no audio device installed. I Have a Realtek that comes with the Optiplex 320. Any Ideas??? I've tried installing the Vista High Def drivers for Realtek, but to no avail.
