Longhorn Clustering
I have been trying to setup a single node test cluster on Longhorn Beta2, and am stuck with the following error:"Access is denied (0x80070005)"I have attempted creating the cluster with both local administrator account and a domain administrator, but receive the same error either way.

Hi Kent, Couple things. First off, make sure you are logged on locally with a domain user account that is a member of the local Administrators group on all nodes. Also make sure that account you are logged on with has permissions to create computer objects in the Active Directory. Take a look at the CreateCluster.html log, it should have more information on the failure. If can be found in: C:\Users\%Account%\Documents\Failover Clustering\ Also take a look at the Windows Firewall settings. Try turning Windows Firewall Off for all profiles. Have you tried running Validate to check your cluster configuration? Open up CluAdmin.msc and on the main summary page click on "Validate a Configuration" Thanks!!Elden ChristensenProgram ManagerWindows Failover Cluster GroupMicrosoft Enterprise Server Products Of course, this posting wouldnt be complete without a nice, juicy disclaimer from our lawyers: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
