Longhorn & RAID Drivers
I just finished setting up a member server using Longhorn. I purchased an Intel board which supports RAID levels 0 through 10. I have one SATA drive for the OS and have created a RAID 5 array with three more SATA drives. I configured the RAID array when I installed the OS. The volume shows up in Windows Longhorn Storage Manager and I formatted it using NTFS. My question is this; since Intel does not have any drivers for Longhorn will the RAID array operate properly and more importantly, will I be able to restore my data if I lose a drive? Thanks in advance. James

Did you create this RAID set with the utility that comes with the RAID card? or did you create a software RAID array? In case of the first, you can restore the RAID array using the same BIOS utility. In the second case I'm not sure since there are no official intel drivers yet. What device driver shows up in device manager? Is it a Microsoft driver?
