I am not able to located the url for technet plus users to download beta2. I have contacted technet support, and they are not even familiar with the product. Does anyone have any ideas what my next step should be? Thanks Dennis

Currently, TechNet does not provide a way for subscribers to download Windows Server "Longhorn" Beta 2. However, the DVD will be in next month's shipment, which subscribers should receive sometime during the first week of July.

Hi David, I went to a conference called ENERGINE IT 2006 here in Toronto and I got the Windows Vista dvd to test. I'm trying to install and there is a problem with the product key. I called the call centre and they said that there is no support to check the product key for Vista. Can you help? thx Oscar

Is this for a Windows Vista Beta 2 DVD or a Windows Server "Longhorn" Beta 2 DVD. There was an issue with the Server DVDs in that we accidentally left off the information on how to request a product key. Follow these steps to get a product key: 1.Browse tohttp://connect.microsoft.com/. 2. In the left navigation menu, click Invitations and then sign in with your Windows Live ID or Microsoft Passport account. 3. Enter the following invitation ID: TE06-KVM4-3RM9 4. In the left navigation menu, click Product Keys. 5. Click the Request Product Key link. Note: These product keys willonly work with the Windows Server "Longhorn" Beta 2 DVDs. They will not work with Windows Vista Beta 2.
