What are you trying to access on these systems? Do you have WINS or DNS on this server? Please post IPCONFIG/ALL from your server and client here. Hi, This issue mostly can be caused due to "Simple File Sharing" is enabled, the Guest account is enabled and the Guest account is in the "Deny access to this computer from the network" list. To fix this issue, please perform the following troubleshoot suggestions: In Windows Vista Business & Ultimate & Enterprise =============================== Remove Guest from "Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Security Settings->Local Policies->User Rights Assignment->Deny access to this computer from the network" Add Guest to "Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Security Settings->Local Policies-> User Rights Assignment -> Access this computer from the network" In Windows Vista Home & Home Premium =============================== Use the NTRights command tool to reset the permission: ntrights +r SeNetworkLogonRight -u guest ntrights -r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight -u guest Regards,Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
