Logging Windows Server 2008 Disk Usage
Hi Can I use Perfmon to log the Disk usage information I see in the Resource Overview screen of Perfmon under Disk? I need to log all the columns including PID, Image, File, Read, Write, IO Priority, Response time. Thanks

I don't see why not. Also check the disk tools available here. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb545046 Regards, Dave Patrick .... Microsoft Certified Professional Microsoft MVP [Windows]

Hi RobNZ. You could add Data Collector Sets from performance template to log all Resource monitor information. Then add a schedule to run the data collection as you like. More details please refer to articles below: Create a Data Collector Set from a Template Schedule Data Collection in Windows Reliability and Performance Monitor If there are more inquiries on this issue, please feel free to let us know.Regards, Rick Tan
