Local digital signature/certificate
In the good old days (XP, even vista) I could create a free, local digital signature/certificate to sign my local macros. Then I would enable signed macros. The application that I ran to create these was CertEnrollCtrl.exe. Now in the Windows 7 age, I can run that executable, but nothing happens. Any suggestions on creating free, local digital signature/certificate?

I would suggest to use makecert.exe and signtool.exe from .Net Frmawork SDK.The problem might be caused due of the fact that it uses CAPICOM libraries that is completely deprecated in Windows 7.http://blogs.msdn.com/alejacma/archive/2009/10/15/capicom-support-on-windows-7.aspxhttp://blogs.msdn.com/alejacma/archive/2009/12/04/2-1-0-3-a-new-capicom-version.aspxhttp://blogs.msdn.com/alejacma/archive/2009/12/14/x64-version-of-capicom.aspxhttp://blogs.msdn.com/alejacma/archive/2009/12/14/x64-version-of-signtool.aspxhttp://blogs.msdn.com/alejacma/archive/2009/12/14/does-signtool-work-on-windows-7.aspxhttp://www.sysadmins.lv
