Local Group export with SID
Dear All,
I need to export the local groups with their SID from a windows 2000 server to a windows 2008 server.
I need to export all the local groups (150) with theirSID to use robocopy beweent both servers with the /sec option to copy 1.2 TB of files with their ACL.
Thanks and regards,

Hello,
use ADMT to migrate accounts between the domains with SIDhistory.

That way you have the SID and can use robocopy for the data transfer.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Dear Meinolf Weber,
I look on your links but it's not a file server but an application server the ACL is managed by the application itself, what i need to do is to export the local groups with their SID and to do a copy of the files with their ACL.
