I recently installed an Enterprise Issuing CA, my capolicy.inf included the following: LoadDefaultTemplates=0 However, when I open the "Certification Authority" Administrative Console and navigate to the "Certificate Templates" node, I see 10 templates assigned to the CA. The templates assigned are: Directory Email Replication, Domain Controller Authentication, EFS Recovery Agent, Basic EFS, Domain Controller, Web Server, Computer, User, Subordinate Certification Authority and Administrator Is this normal? I thought the LoadDefaultTemplates=0 meant no templates would be assigned? Thanks, Paul

Think I figured out why this happened. I place the capolicy.inf in the %windir%\system32 folder rather than the %windir% folder.
