Link Azure to 0365

We have 0365 and have configured dirsync for it, this works fine and users can actively use 0365.

We had VSO and configured Azure for the billing reasons. Also working fine as is.

my admin accounts on 0365 are @<company>.onmicrosoft.com accounts.

Maybe this is dumb but i cant figure out how to link my @<company>.onmicrosoft.com domain to the Azure instance we have already setup. When i try to add these accounts in, i get an error saying they are not microsoft accounts (live accounts).

My goal is to be able to use the same @<company>.onmicrosoft.com accounts with the same passwords to get into both environments.

If i could even take this one step further... i assume my 0365 dirsync is syncing to azure, can i just connect my whole 0365 tenant to my existing azure instance?

Hi,

If you want to move and existing subscription to another account, you need to make a Service Request to the Billing department. https://manage.windowsazure.com/?getsupport=true. That way you will "link" them together.

If you don't have any data in your Azure Subscription to day, and just want to start off fresh, sign up for a new Azure subscription using your existing Office 365 Global Admin account.

Hope this helps :)

Hello,

If you have an Office 365 subscription that is based on a domain such as solutions.onmicrosoft.com, you are already using Windows Azure AD because the user accounts are based on Windows Azure AD.

Please refer the following link for Authenticating Users with Azure Active Directory.
