Licensing an expired Windows Server 2003 R2 EE evaluation
Hi, on a my vm I've Windows Server 2003 R2 (with SP2) Enterprise Edition for evaluation. This so is expired and I've the product key to license it. I've the ISO to upgrade it to put the pk, but it seems that I've on the vm a newer version of Windows Server 2003 R2. How can I license my vm, please? Many thanks

May need to slipstream the media for this to work. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/bb430832.aspx Regards, Dave Patrick .... Hi Dave, thanks for you reply, but could you give me major details, please? On my vm I've Windows Server 2003 R2 (sp2) EE 32-bit in English language but for now I've an iso with 2 cds with an older setup. Thanks

The only thing newer should be the service pack. You can use the /integrate option to slipstream it but that might be a problem if you're looking for ISO media http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/downgrade-rights.aspx something here may help. http://www.petri.co.il/windows_2003_sp1_slipstreaming.htm Regards, Dave Patrick .... Hi Dave, however I will have Windows Server 2003 R2 EE 32-bit with SP 2, downloaded from the MSDN. I think that there aren't any problems to licence the current evaluation copy expired, isn't it? I don't loss any data/settings, isn't it? Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to run an inplace-upgrade with the retail (2 CDs) of Windows Server 2003 R2 EE (sp2) 32-bit with these 2 iso:en_win_srv_2003_r2_enterprise_with_sp2_cd1_x13-05460.iso and en_win_srv_2003_r2_enterprise_with_sp2_cd2_x13-68584, but when it requires the second cd (that I've mounted) the path of the media that I've specified isn't accepted and so I'm constrained to push the cancel button. Any suggests to me, please? Thanks
