Licensing
Hello! I have a Server which is called "Univention Corporate Server". This is not so good like Acitve Directory but it works. So now I need a Windows Server 2008 for Windows applications but I don't install Active Directory. I will configure it as Member Server in the "Univention Corporate Server" Domain. About 50 users are in the network. My question is: Do I need some CALs for the Windows Server or not? Thanks for help! PS: Sorry I don't have Active Directory but some people are ten years behind.

Hello, each machine or user, depending on your needs requires a license to access the Windows server 2008. Please contact Microsoft support to get the correct information about your network. Licensing is always speical and they are the experts.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
