i am trying to install weblogic 10.3.3 on Windows server 2003 Web edition. as soon as i click on the setup file it gives me the following error msg "Windows cant open this program. The license enforcement system has been tampered with or become corrupted" does anyone know the possible reasons for this error message. when i run the same setup file on any other machine (XP, Server2003 std) it works fine. Hi Ali, Try with Run As with administrator account. If you are not running with administrator account you will get the error 1278 (0x4FE) : Windows cannot open this program because the license enforcement system has been tampered with or become corrupted. Thanks.

hi , The error you are experience needs further analysis from the product specific. The error you are seeing is part of winerror.h possible causes : a) make sure your product is compatible with windows web edition b) contact weblogic regarding the same.
