Latency in USB Backup using NTBackup
Our system backup starts at 8:00PM, and usually takes 12-13 hours to complete. It's running the native NTBackup, backing up Exchange, System State, and Users folders. The size of the backup is 65G.
Is it normal for a 65G backup, using USB, to take 12-13 hours? Our server is running in a RAID-10 configuration.

65GB over USB 1.1 is estimated to take 14 hours, from online calculators I am using.
Make sure the USB device you are using is USB 2.0 or better and the USB port you are using is also USB 2.0

Me also. I'm moving to another USB port, suspect the old port is 1.1
Thanks,

You can use an adaptor to let it be 2.0.
