Hello, make the client computer pointing to your DC as primary DNS server. Also, check connectivity using ping IP -t command. Check if there failures. If yes then possible that you have problems with your network equipements. Disable all security softwares that you have and check again. For monitoring, you can use a sniffer like Wireshark. Hello, slow performance starts on the used hardware and ends on configuration settings on the NIC. If hardware like switches, routers and computers is too old or do not use the up to date drivers make sure to update them. As you run a domain very often DNS is misconfigured. I think this issue is more better to start troubleshooting form your network derives cause all your internal clients in this network seems are impacted by this issue. Since you are using Cisco devices, you may try to collect the traffic status by using NetFlow based utility or maybe acquire a better method to verify your network usage status by consulting with Cisco support service . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflow On Windows side , deploying SMNP on client is a way for you to collect the network traffic status on client.
