Known issues after changing serverlanguage from german to english
Hello
we are running several server on server 2008R2 SP1. We installed the server with the german version of server 2008r2 so the english language pack is already installed.
Now we like to change the language from german to english (region and language --> Keyboards and Languages --> Choose a display language --> english --> Log off --> Log in --> Displaylanguage is now english)
Are there any known issues that showed up while changing the language? Maybe with Domaincontroller or Exchangeserver? Anything else I should consider about? I know that windows doesn't change the loginnames to english (a.e. the group Administratoren --->
Administrators)
Thank you for answering the questions
Regards

Hi,
Thanks for posting your question in the forum.
As far as I know, if you change the display language, the text in menus and dialog boxes for some programs might not be in the language that you want. This happens because the program might
not support Unicode. And I havent met any other issues caused by the language changing any more. If there is any other issues occur after changing the display language, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will be very happy to help. Thanks.
