Kerberos or other authentication
We've recently entered in a joint effort with another College and are sharing facilities at an off campus location. Our IT group has been tasked with maintaining the computers and network at this location while the other college offers classes there as well. Here's the problem...they don't want an AD trust and neither do we. WE also don't want to create AD accounts for all the students from the other college on our domain. At first, I thought I could use Kerberos to authenticate, however we still have to create accounts and map them to their kerberos realm. It is against our policy to create and use generic auto logon accounts as well. I need some method to allow logon to Windows 7 workstations that can authenticate to our AD for our students and to Kerberos/LDAP/RADIUS/whatever for their students. We prefer free methods that are included with Windows. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance! J
