KMS Activation limit
Hi everybody,
I read a lot of documentation about KMS server but there is still one question i've never found a real answer..
In many document i can read that there is NO activation limit against a KMS Host but I can't believe there is no limit for the activation...
So how microsoft known the activation state? And how is define the activation limit for a KMS host key (license agreement?)?

What limit do you want?
Limit how long a computer is activated, limit the number of pcs to activate, limit the time between activation attempts? Or something else?
And we also need to know which product you want to activate by KMS. Windows? Office? Version?

Hello.
Once the KMS host machine is activated, there is no communication with Microsoft.
The KMS host is there to enable Activation not for compliance.
The KMS host does not know how many machines activate, so it doesn't maintain a count of activated machines.
It only maintains a count of unique machines that contact it over the past 30 days. Thanks, Darrell Gorter [MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
