We are trying to add windows 8 and windows server 2012 to our KMS Host. We have followed the Microsoft article 2691586 We have downloaded and installed the hotfix rebooted the server run the command with our KMS key 'cscript %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /ipk <var><KMS host key>'</var> when running the following command 'cscript %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /ato' we get an error 0x8004fe93 <var></var> have checked DNS and the srv record and everything there is ok. what else could be causing the issue?

Well figured it out. turned out to be HTTPS Inspection on our firewall
