Did you download and install the update manually to check the result?

Unlike in Windows 8.1 the System and Security troubleshooting menu in Windows Server 2012 R2 does not contain an option to fix problems with Windows Update.

not work because corrapt files with cellurar net (multymistakes in downloading from microsoft servers thru cellurar net) and also say "this update do not   to you system (Wn 8.1)"

I have used the DISM, however, it seems the problem is still there. All other updates install OK but this particular one seems like being stuck.

I just have noticed that the same error 800F0831 is also produced by failed LPK installations on my server. Could there be a link between LPKs failures to install and this update?

Finally, 4 months after, I have restarted the server and noticed that KB2894856 finally got installed. I am happy.

Today I again got the same error code 800F0831 with respect to update KB3037579. Should I again wait another 5 months before it finally installs itself?
