Issues with a Scheduled Task
Hi Guys,
Hope you can help.
I have a scheduled task that triggers a console application to be run (using Sql Server 2008 r2). This console app updates and saves an excel spreadsheet on another server.
If I double- click the console app, it runs and updates/ saves the spreadsheet without any problems. However, when the scheduled task runs, it opens and edits the spreadsheet, but is unable to save it.
I'm using the UNC path to the spreadsheet and the user has sufficient permissions to run the console app when logged on and the scheduled task is set to run with the highest account priveleges, so I'm really not sure what else I can do.
Any ideas?
