Issue starting AutoCad in service on Windows 2003 R2
We have 2 Windows 2003 R2 servers. Both of them have AutoCad 2009 on them. There is another software called BlueBeam which keeps polling a folder (example: C:\WatchFolder) for Cad drawings (*.dwg files). When a Cad file drops into the folder, Bluebeam opens the Cad file in AutoCad 2009 and converts it to PDF. The BlueBeam software can run as a "service" or the "standard" mode. As a Service, This functionality seems to be working fine on 1 (One) of the Windows 2003 R2 server, but does not seem to work on another windows 2003 R2 server. For debugging, when I run the BlueBeam software in the standard mode rather then service mode, the software works fine on both the Windows 2003 R2 servers, in that as soon as the Cad file is dropped into the folder, it is opened in AutoCad 2009 and converted to PDF file. Any ideas/suggestions as to How I can debug the issue? If this question needs to be posted to some other Microsoft forum, please let me know.
