Isatap interface is down on Windows 2008 server
We have been having issues with our Windows 2008 server after about 10 days going sluggish. I normally reboot and all is fine for another 10 days. I recently discovered that there is an ISATAP interface that is experiencing problems.
Along with it, I see that there is a disabled second network controller. Could this be the source of our problems? I've been checking Perfmon settings and do not see any abnormal CPU, disk, memory issues going on.

Hi,
Thank you for your post.
ISATAP is an address assignment and host-to-host, host-to-router, and router-to-host automatic tunneling technology that provides unicast IPv6 connectivity between
IPv6 hosts across an IPv4 intranet. ISATAP can be used for communication between IPv6/IPv4 nodes on an IPv4 intranet.
Have you got any IPv6 nodes on your network?
However, there are five major resource areas that can cause bottlenecks and affect server performance: physical disk, memory, process, CPU, and network. You'd better
use performance monitor to assist you in diagnosing the problem.

We don't use IPv6. So, I feel comfortable to disable it
