Hi David,

This issue may be caused by the pemission issue for vault credential.

Please make sure that the Azure Recovery Services Agent can access the vault credential.

Also, we can check if there is any related warning or error in the event viewer.

To check the event of Azure site recovery, please refer to the screenshot below:

Thanks for the information. However, my main concern is not how to resolve this one issue. My issues is, what is the point in having a link on error message dialog box, when, if you click the link, you are told that "there is no additional information".

It would be better, when receiving an error message in a dialog box, to say "this is all the information that you're going to get", or, leave off the link.

This is the exact "information" I get when I receive "You are not authorized to perform this action" from Microsoft Azure Recovery Agent.

If this were an isolated instance, I would let it got.  However, almost every "help" link gives me this non-message.

To my way of thinking, you would be better served NOT to have links on dialog boxes, etc., that give this non-answer.
