Is there any way to remove turn off stateless ipv6 after dns and dhcp seteup
Hello, I have Windows 2008 server domain controller which while setting up i mistakenly setup the dhcp server to use stateless IPv6. We are not using IPv6 at all on our network. i have completely disbled ipv6 using the microsoft tools but i believe that this setting is still generating errors message becuase the we are not using IPV6 and like i said it has been otherwise diabled on the server. i know that 2008 always wants to use ipv6 if at all possible but we dont need to use it for our purposes. please can someone tell me if i can disble or uninstall stateless ipv6 mode on the dhcp server role without having to uninstall a ton of things. i have searched the net but not been able to come up with an answer. most have said that it is not possible. please help. thank you. even if i can reconfigure the dhcp settings that would be awsome. i really hope its not too late. any ideas anyone?
