Is there any way of being notified by email that Windows Updates are available?
So I was wondering if there is any way that I can build a script that will check to see if Windows updates have been downloaded and are awaiting installation, if so send a notification email. We currently dont have WSUS installed in our environment. So unless I log into each of my servers and see the notification bubble I dont know if there are updates waiting to be installed. Anyone know of a way that I maybe able to get around this?
