Is there a true clustered file system I can use with 2008R2?
I have two 2008R2 hosts both connected to the same physical LUN via fiber channel. These host perform two different functions. I want to know if there is a file system I can put on that LUN that will allow both hosts to simultaneously read and write to the same device without corruption? Much like the many UNIX file systems have been able to do for years. I need both systems to see the storage as a local drive and I need the file system to handle the write contention possibilities.. I assume it would have to be a 3rd party solution of some kind.... Has ANYONE done this in Windows? Is it even possible? -Ken

You'll probably want to take a look at the Veritas (Symentac) products.Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
