Is there a Best Practices Analyser for Windows Server 2008 (Not R2)?
I run the SBS Best Practices Analyser regularly on our SBS 2008 server. We also have a 2008 member server which to the best of my knowledge is configured in accordance with how Microsoft recommend. I would however like to make sure the member server is configured well from a best practices point of view. What are the options for best practices analysis when it comes Windows Server 2008 (NOT R2)?? This will be even more important I guess when Microsoft cease the SBS range.

Hi, Did you mean the Best Practices Analyzer application or some guides for best practice?

I mean the Best Practices Analyzer application - like the SBS one except for Windows Server 2008 (not R2).

Hi, Unfortunately, it seems that the Best Practices Analyzer for Windows Server 2008 is not available for download. You may try to upgrade your server to Windows Server 2008 R2.
