Hi,
   I want to use Microsoft.SqlServer.XEvent.Linq.dll to read SQL Server Extended Events files and streaming data. I want to know if this dll is redistributable. I am targeting SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014.

Hi Prince,

  Microsoft.SqlServer.XEvent.Linq.dll is a SQL Extended events dll as you would have known, used to capture active events, with which we can develop monitoring solutions like the ones developed in Management Studio (The dll was available as part of the SQL Management Studio). We want to use this dll to develop our monitoring solution and distribute it.  

   I wondered if the above mentioned dll can be redistributed and hence this post..
