Internal database for WSUS uses almost all available memory
I have installed File services, WSUS, IIS and only features required to support these roles on my 2008 R2 server.
When I look at task manager, of my 8gb of memory, SQLServer.exe is using over 6 GB of it.
Why? How do I stop this process socking up all of the available memory?
This is related to WSUS, yes? Can't find anything there to set memory limits etc. Seems to be no administrative gui for managing the database side of things...
thanks

Will you please place this question in SQL forum? It is here
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/sqlserver
Give there more information about the configuration - what type of SQL server you use.
If you do not obtain answer in SQL forum, then try WSUS forum.

PS: For comparison, I have WSUS on server with 8GB RAM and it takes 775MB of memory.
