Installing Windows Server 2008 Question
I am trying to dual boot Windows Server 2008 with Windows XP. Information that I have received from Technet support is to run Windows Server 2008 Setupfromwithin Windows XPnot directly from the setup DVD. The problem is finding the correct Setup file on the install disk from within Windows xp. When I open the DVD I click on all the Setup files that I see but get an error message: "this is not a valid Win32 Application." Any ideas will be appreciated. HRbest

You might want to first verify that the DVD contain 32 bit setup file instead of 64 bit if you plan to install it on a 32bit hardware. You can run the setup by bootup from the DVD or run the setup from another Windows OS. If you run setup from Windows by double click on the DVD drive in My Computer, autorun should bring you a "Install Windows" screen. You can follow on-screen instruction to start installation. If you prefer to manually double click on the installation file in DVD to start installation, the file you should run is Setup.exe.
