Windows Media Center is only available in: Windows XP Media Center Edition Windows XP Media Center Edition 2003 Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Windows Vista Home Premium Windows Vista Ultimate Alternatively you can install Windows Media Servicesfor Windows Server 2008. (also available on Server Core)

It does look like this will be possible alot of people are trying it. Try some google searching. I would be keen to hear of peoples results as well.

I'm very curious myself - I hate how slow Vista is but server 2008 runs as fast as XP from my experience so far.
