Installing NLB on Win Server 2008
Hi Please can someone assist.
I am trying to install NLB on a Win 2008 Server, I have installed it under add features in Windows but under the network connection properties i tick NLB then click install. Then It wants to browse to a location to install it from. I am just wandering where
to browse to or is it on the Windows installation disk and if so where?
Thanks
Brad.

Just run from Administrative Tools, NLB Manager and configure NLB cluster there. It will configure everything itself :)Regards, Krzysztof

Do not select manually the “network load balancing (NLB) connection”!! This will happen automatically during the NLB Cluster creation process.
Check the scenario on Hyper-V

For details check webcast.

Hello Brad,
Once you install the feature NLB, you can see the Network Load Balancing (NLB) option on Local Area Connection properties.
Donot tick NLB or click install.
Do not select manually the “network load balancing (NLB) connection”!! This will happen automatically during the NLB Cluster creation process.
Actually install is used to install the new network features. When you click install it prompt you to select the network feature and drivers to add the new features.
Hope you understand.
Thanks.

Thanks guys I came right and it says that the servers are converged. How do I go about testing it to make sure it is working 100% because it is a Sharepoint server farm.
