Installing Acadmic client access licenses
We have installed Windows Server 2008 standard with 10 academic client licences, but I cannot find the location/way to install those licenses. Really this shouldn't be a difficult thing... Am I blind? Anyways, after searching the web all I can find is for Terminal Server, but our academic key does not seem to match any of the settings for standard keys for Terminal server. Our license #is in the format of P##-##### W#######-####. Any help would be appreciated!Brian

Theserver itself is activated and registered, the problem is with the access licenses. We are not able to use Remote Desktop.

Hello,do you talk about Terminal server client access licenses? Or do you mean normal user/device client access licenses? If the latter you just must have them on paper. For the first one you have to install a Terminal server license server according to:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754034(WS.10).aspxBest regards

Hello,if you are not able to access the server with remote desktop connection, please post the error message you get when trying to connect. For more then 2 connections (administration mode) you have th need to go to application mode, which requires the Terminal server CAL and the Terminal server license server. All other licenses you must have on paper.Best regards
