Install Server 2012 R2 on Microsoft Software RAID 5

I can't find anything out there about configuring RAID 5 (Microsoft Software built in RAID 5) to where the operating system itself is on the RAID 5 array.

IE:
RAID5 would consist of Disk 0, Disk 1, Disk 2 (3 Drives)

I see lots of stuff out there (And can do so) to configure Disk 2, 3 and 4. But I want the RAID 5 array to be Disk 0, 1, 2 and for the server to boot off of the array.

Due to requirements and limitations of budget this is how they want it setup. Otherwise I would do hardware RAID all day long. I can't do hardware RAID. I don't want to do RAID 1.

I'm surprised there isn't much out there on this topic. The OS is Server 2012 R2. 3 x 500GB SATA drives.

Thanks!

Its putting the cart before the horse. There's no way to do that. Software raid 5 means rewriting the disks which would destroy the existing OS.
