Install Problem with Windows Server 2008
I had Linux on my server previously. I tried installing Windows Server 2008 and when attempting to format the hard drive no hard drives would show up. I just put in a new 300gb SCSI hard drive in it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Using a USB flash drive, you can copy the drivers to them. Once you boot from the disk you'll select to install Windows.. Accept the EULA Click on Custom(Advanced) Setup Click on "Load Drivers" which appears on the screen you typically will select the hard disk. It should autodetect your UFD and list the avaible drivers on it that apply to the system. I hope that helps. Would you happen to know where to get AHCI and RAID controller drivers for HP DL585 G1? The HP Support site has the drivers but they have to be installed by and .exe and the windows installer only wants driver files.

Most exe installers can be extracted using tools like 7zip.
