In a windows 2008 R2 domain xp systems cannot open network: error msg: domain is not accessible you might not permissions

have no results as following: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc759668%28WS.10%29.aspx and xp machines not showing the domain computers, and windows 7 machines showing only few computers, and couple of windows 7 machines showing double entries. please guide C:\Program Files\Support Tools>BROWSTAT.EXE listwfw domainabc Calling NetServerEnum to enumerate WFW servers. 0 WFW servers returned. 0 total. Hi, Thank you for your post. Please perform these methods to troubleshooting: 1. Installed kb2444328 and reboot your server 2. Try to close or disabled the AV software in your XP 3. Try KB913628, KB940648 4. Your post show Master browser name is: myxpmachine, try to start computer browser service, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service on your Windows 2008 server, let the server win the Master browser If there are more inquiries on this issue, please feel free to let us know. hi I have rectified it. I have made a GPO for the whole domain to start following services in the domain. - Function Discovery Resource Publication - SSDP Discovery - UPnP Device Host And stopped computer Browser service on the systems which were being elected as a Master Browser,until the correct Domain Controller was elected as Master Browser. Then after 45 minutes and a full catalog was created, every thing working. Thank you
