My Application stores a cookie on client machine. Based on the cookie enable/disable status in internet options it will write/update the cookie values. Ideally cookie should not get written or updated in case of cookie status is disabled in browser. Issue is in IE 8, even after disabling cookies on client machine, the cookie is getting written on the client machine. Is this a bug? If not, what is workaround to get the Ideal scenario? i.e. cookie should not get written or updated in case of cookie disable status in browser.
