VJ, Have you tried using the Admin console?  I don't have hyper-v in front of me, but I had no issues using Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.

I have not tried with Hyper-V yet.

I have done this about a 20 times and it works, I have created a cmd file and then run the command file as administrator.

Also, make sure that you don;t have the files in a compressed directory, Hyper-V will not allow the vhd to be in a compressed directory.

You cannot do this from the admin console the importVM.exe set some symbolic links to the base VHD and all the module VHD are differencing disks.

Has anyone managed to solve this?

I have the same issue, running Windows 7 64Bit (Hyper-V is enabled).

The last I checked, Hyper-V is only available on the server platform. The MMC plugins may work on Windows 7. The BizTalk DEMO VM's are Hyper-V and as such would not work with Windows Virtual PC as the later does not support 64 bit guests and the virtual disk formats are different between the two.

Regards.
