Import database stuck in 'pending' for 3 hours

I imported a .bacpac into a AzureDb V2 server, and it has been stuck in 'pending' for 3 hours.

The same happened on a completely separate server in a different subscription.

Azure status shows everything is working fine.

The servers are both in West US

Here's an example (it is now 10:43pm; ~3 hours later)

Start Time: Thursday, March 19, 2015 7:31:58 PM
End Time: Thursday, March 19, 2015 7:31:58 PM

Server Name: <elided>
Database Name: <elided>
Operation Name: Import
Operation ID: 02498e4e-fd35-402e-93f9-ba77b44cf20f

Hello,

My name is Eli Fisher and I am a Program Manager working on Azure SQL Database. My team is investigating the issue you stated above.

While we investigate the issue, you can try the following workaround to import your database onto your server using Sql Server Management Studios.

  1. Install the update for SQL Server Management Studios this can be found here:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3011055
  2.  Open SSMS
  3. Connect to your Azure SQL Database Server
  4. Under the server right click on databases and select import data-tier application
  5. In the import settings select the .BACPAC file you want to import. *Make sure that Web/Business is not selected as these are not supported on V12 servers.
  6. Last start the import.

Hope this helps!
