Is there way in an Excel 2013 powerpivot model to ignore missing dimension members in cube formulas? My powerpivot data source is a SQL Server database. I was able to solve this in a SSAS cube sourced model in Excel by modifying the cube connection string with Extended Properties="MDXMissingMemberMode=Ignore". Attempted the same in Powerpivot under SQL server advanced properties but it still errors out. Is that MDX missing member setting only for SSAS cubes, if so how to handle this in an Excel powerpivot with SQL DB connections?
