If I have 100 small databases do I need to pay for 100 separate SQL Databases?

I have a number of very small databases which are hosted on a single database server with Amazon Web Services.

I am looking to host these databases on Azure SQL Database.  My question is do I need to pay for 100 separate SQL databases or is it priced in such a way that I pay for capacity on a server.  i.e does a 10 MB database cost the same as a 10 GB database?

Hi,

Yes you need to pay for 100 separate databases.

And the pricing depends on the tiers you select, eg: Basic, standard and premium.

Also check this:
