Identify Root, Child & Tree Domain

Recently I got a document on an existing Ad Infra. In that it is told, Ad consists of single forest - one root domain and 2 child domain.

How can I verify this from Ad consoles,

 I know you said console, but this may help to determine names.

Get-ADRootDSE | select *naming*

Thanks for your post.

You could also view the domians in Active directory domain and trust. By default, when a new domain tree is created in an existing forest, a new tree-root trust is established. By default, when a new child domain is added to an existing domain tree, a new parent and child trust is established.
