I Have a 2008 server that has all 5 of my FSMO roles on it. Well I need licensing server on it. This means I have to demote it to remove it from AD because according to what I have read Group Policy interferes with adding Terminal Server role. So I need to dcpromo this but I only plan on doing it until I can get Terminal Server on it. My question is do I need to transfer my FSMO roles as i'm planning on bringing it back up. Shouldn't take but a day two at the most. I have two other AD servers with DNS on them.
