I cant access my local disk c:
i just bought my new neo elan and i want to put a password on my local disk...
i open its properties and chose security tab then i chose authenticating user and denied the full control and the others below...
when i did that, nothing happened until i restarted my laptop...
since then and up until now i still cant access my local disc...i tried the cmd, command prompt, gpedit....
but still access is denied...please help me...thanks....

Hi,
Its not recommended to change default NTFS permission on system partition. Please try the following step to recover the changes.
1. Log on as a local administrator.
2. Take the owner ship of the C: driver.
3. Change the NTFS permission back to normal.
4. Reboot the computer.
If the above solution did not fix the problem, then we need to rebuild the OS.
