I cannot connect to network with win 2008
I have win 2008 enterprise beta version installed with SP 1 v126. I am trying to change the domain and I keep getting the following error:The error was: "No DNS servers configured for local system."(error code 0x0000267c DNS_ERROR_NO_DNS_SERVERS)I cannot connect to the internet. I checked my device manager and there was no ethernet controller driver. Can someone help me connect to the network?Thank you

You need to find the driver for your NIC and install it before you can connect it to the network. The easiest way if you don't know which card you have is to open up your computer and read on the NIC which manufacturer it is.

In response, to the response...what do you do if you have the drivers installed for the NIC, and still cannot connect to a network, or domain? Better yet what do you do, if you just installed the OS (XP), was able to update the system via windows update, and after the last reboot the NIC is disabled, and you can no longer get an outside connection?
