I can not limit the rights of a new user.
Hi,
I have Windows Server 2003. The problem is
that registering a new user, it already
has assigned rights on folders and directories.
So what I do is
remove all belongings to any group, such as Everyone.
The new user is
not belonging to any group.
But this can still create
folders, edit and delete files.
I suspect that is inheriting
the rights of the Users group, because when
unassign rights to this, my newly created user
also loses.
Anyone know what's going on?
What can I do to unassign rights to new user?
thanks.

what is your business case here? A user is granted Users group permissions from special groups — Authenticated Users and Ineractive Users that are the members of the Users group. You cannot manage these groups membership. My weblog: http://en-us.sysadmins.lv
