I am using Thunderbird email client how can I configure it to use LDAP automatically from my windows server 2003 domain controller
I am trying to point our email clients ( we use Thunderbird) to use our DC's LDAP.
Right now the account has to be in the Administrators group for it to work
correctly and that account has to have a password set.
I was wondering if I could set up an account that had some kind of
pass through authentication so we do not need to set a password and
I was trying to find a way to not have to have the account added to the administrators group to get it to set the correct permissions.
Any direction that you can give me would be appreciated.
