I am getting the cannot find install.wim error
I have loaded the latest image file from the 2008 website twice, and have burned several DVDs on2 different burners, but I still cannot get the install to complete without getting this error. Any ideas?

Hi, This scenario occurs probably because install.win file was corrupted or missing. The process of downloading volume data from the Internet may lead to some data loss. To resolve this issue, please follow the steps shown in this post: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=796452&SiteID=17 This method uses Microsoft Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel to generate a virtual image; adds Install.win from another Windows server 2008 setup image into this virtual image, and finally creates a full setup image. Also, imagex can still work for this purpose. I have found a very easy fix for this. Reboot the server and hit F8 to goto the boot selections. Select SafeMode. Windows will begin booting into SafeMode. Once it does this, the Install will begin. After that, just run the setup normally. Quick and Easy...Sometimes I think people make things more difficult than it really has to be. Good Luck
