IT Manager

Hi,

I purchased Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard recently and have installed it on an HP ML10 server.
Installation was successful, but after some time I am getting the below event created :

"Event id 27 from source e1express cannot be found"

I got this also investigated from HP and they came back saying it's not related to the server as there was some unexpected shutdown happening.

Please help me how to go forward in resolving this and what I need to do.

Thanks,

Lakshmisha

Hi,

the event information you have provided, seems slightly incomplete or inaccurate, so my guess is a network adapter/connection error is occurring.

Does your event data resemble these symptoms listed in these discussions?

Hi,

Agree with DonPicks suggestion.

If it is a physical server, you may try to update the NIC driver, download the latest driver from the vendors website and install it.
